3. Select Update QuickBooks.
4. From the Update Now tab, click the Get Updates button.

Once completed, make sure to restart QuickBooks to ensure that all components are updated. Now, you can try accessing your clients' account. 

If the issue persists, you can run the built-in QuickBooks Tool Hub. This program is used to fix common file errors and repair data integrity issues.

1. Close your QuickBooks.
2. Download the most recent version (1.4.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Then, save it in your local storage.
3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
4. Follow the on-screen steps to install, then agree to the terms and conditions.
5. When the install finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.

Once done, you'll have to launch the Quick Fix my File function. Here's how:

1. From the tool hub, select the Company File Issues tab.
2. Select Quick Fix my File.
3. Click OK when it completes.
4. Open your QuickBooks Desktop.

Thank you for your prompt reply.  I should have added that I removed 2020 and 2021 QB Premiere Accountant Edition.  I also saw these instructions on a different post and tried all of what you recommended. I would really like the original version of my QB Premiere Accountant Edition with no updates when I purchased it.  I searched my computer and couldn't find the install file.  Can you assist with obtaining the 2019 Premiere Accountant Edition original version?  The issue is with the 2021 version as that is when it started happening.  Please be more specific when you direct me to go to QB, which year am I updating? Remember I have uninstalled both 2020 and 2021 and still have issues.  I need the original QB 2019 Premiere Accountant Edition.

When in QB 2019, I am trying to void a check in an Accountant's copy, I keep getting Error 19062 00238 and the system shuts down.  I have updated QB and I have run this QB tool hub fix my file and this does not help.  Please advise.

Aside from using the Tool Hub and Verify/Rebuild Data Utility Tool, I like to share additional troubleshooting steps to resolve unrecoverable errors in QuickBooks. 

If you need to repair a program, it can be an issue on your computer, damaged data, or missing updates. It may lead to an unrecoverable error while opening or working with QBDT. 

If you have already performed the steps shared by IamjuViel above and the problem continues, go ahead and try the different solutions found in this link attached depending on the scenario: Unrecoverable Error: General Troubleshooting Steps. 

However, if the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team. They can run a remote-viewing session to check on your data and verify the root cause of this matter.

To do that:

1. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Enter a brief description of your issue. Then, click Let's talk, and then choose a way to connect with us.

I have a same error code 19062 00238 on my QBs Premiere Accountant Edition 2021, if you want to fix this error message, you will need to update all your QBs Premiere Accountant Edition, e.g if you have 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022, you have to update all. I did it on my and fixed.

icheng, you are brilliant!  Updating each year of my QB finally worked for me.

My version 2022 is having this issue, So frustrating, updating did not work.

Since the update still didn't fix the issues, let's run some troubleshooting steps to isolate this.

First, is to use a different QuickBooks user:

Note that we need to update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release and create a backup company file first. 

1. Go to Company then select Set Up Users and Passwords
2. Click on Set Up Users. 
3. Select Add User..., then type the username and password and select Next. Note: Don't use the damaged user name. 
4. Customize the user as necessary, then select Finish. 
5. Go to File, then select Close Company/Logoff.
6. Log in to the company file using the new login credential.

If the new user is effective, delete the damaged user and establish a new one.

Note: If the error happens when you open when your file as the admin user, run the QuickBooks File Doctor. 

If the new user doesn't fix the error, let's go ahead and continue to Create and new Windows Admin.

This will not fix the problem.  It will not let me verify or rebuild.  I simply got a new copy and moved on.
