They are a vendor, but when I looked for the sent email no luck. I followed your instructions.
To be clear, I ran a P&L (months ago), clicked email, and emailed it out. I copied and pasted in their email from my non-QB email, so I don't think QB recognized this person as a vendor. More a random email.
Other ideas? For non vendors/customers. Again, sent email from a report.
Thank you.
Thank you, @NameUser, for getting back to us and providing more information about your concern. I'll provide some tips on how to retrieve the report you've emailed using a non-QuickBooks email address.
Currently, emails sent using email services other than QuickBooks cannot be retrieved or reviewed. If you sent a report using an email account other than QuickBooks, you can also access the sent items folder and get the necessary data there.
Additionally, you can BCC yourself on all emails to ensure that a copy ends up in your work inbox. A copy of any form your email will be sent to you and the additional recipient(s).
Please follow the steps I've outlined below:
If you get the copy and the recipient’s email address recorded is correct, then this should indicate emails you sent from QuickBooks were accurately processed.
Please refer to the following websites for more information about your options for keeping track of the emails and reports you've sent through the system:
