For some unknown reason the box for the Cheque No. is now saying to print and I am unable to change it. I use this box for all sorts of info.

I’m here to help and make sure you can change the To print mark in the Check no. field. We’ll have to untick the box for Print Later to fix the issue.


Here’s how:

  1. Open the check you’re working on.
  2. This will open the transaction detail.
  3. From there, uncheck the box for Print Later.
  4. Then, enter the information you wish to add in the field box.print.pngprint 1.png

Thank you for the speedy reply however I do not have the "print later" check box as you suggested, so therefore I am unable to uncheck it.  See attached screenshot.

A possible browser issue might have caused the Print later option to not show up. I can share some steps that can resolve unexpected results when working in QuickBooks Online. Switch to an incognito or private browser. Please use these keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Ctrl Shift N  for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift P for Firefox
  • Control Option +if you're using Safari

If the Print later box shows up, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. The overloaded files in your browser can sometimes cause unusual behaviors in the program. As an alternative, try another supported browser.
