Forcing an import of credit card transactions

I am using QB for Mac 2019.v18.0.12 R13

I am trying to import some transactions to a credit card register. When I import the file, I get the message "Nothing imported. This account is up to date."

But the

transactions are for December 2021 and aren't listed.

I have downloaded the transactions as csv and open it in Excel. They are the correct transactions.

How do I force QB to import the file?

Thanks!

Forcing an import of credit card transactions

Hi danno2!

Thanks for posting here. Let me assist you in importing the credit card transactions.

QuickBooks Desktop for Mac supports .qbo file only for Web Connect. Instead of CSV, you'll want to convert it to the file format mentioned to prevent issues. You can visit our QuickBooks Desktop Apps if you need a third-party application that can convert a file format.

Also, you'll want to make sure that you have the latest fixes and patches by updating QuickBooks for Mac to the latest release.

You can refer to these articles to know more on how to import transactions:

Lastly, here's the article if you need additional help in reconciling your accounts: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Desktop.

Get back to this post anytime if you have more questions I can help. Take care!

Forcing an import of credit card transactions

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the reply. I have used QB for several years.

I am not sure if my original post was unclear or if your response was automated based on keywords but it didn't address my issue.

This web page actually did:

https://smbdaily.com/error-nothing-imported-account-up-to-date/

I followed the instructions and text edited the downloaded file to change the account number and was able to import the transactions but I would hope Intuit might build in a simpler solution. For the moment the problem is solved.

Thanks,

Dan
