Getting 'Curreny, ExchangeRate is missing' error while trying to create Vendor Bills using QBO API (Error code="2410")

Allow me to help you get past the error message you encounter when trying to create Vendor Bills using QBO API, Sanjaya1.

First, you can run some troubleshooting steps to identify what causes the error message when trying to create vendor bills.

To start with, try opening QuickBooks on a private window. There are instances that issues like this occurs when the system encounter cache traffic. You may use these keyboard shortcuts to open one:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

If it works, you can go back to a regular browser and clear its cache. Once a cache is piled up, it can cause some unexpected happenings on the opened pages like QuickBooks. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative.

I'd also suggest visiting our Intuit Developers page. This forum is where you can interact with fellow developers, product experts, and engineers about software, API, or developer license-related questions. I'll guide you how.

  1. Go to this link: https://help.developer.intuit.com/s/.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Online under What do you need help with?
  3. Click Ask a Question
  4. Log into your existing Intuit Developer Account or create a new one.
  5. Enter your concern.
  6. Click Ask.

I’ve attached an article that provides more information on how QuickBooks uses exchange rates, I’m sure you’ll find it helpful:  Learn about exchange rates in QuickBooks Online
