Hello, I tried to connect my bank, IbanFirst, to your system by entering the bank URL (using their API) but apparently it did not work, can you help?

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.

I'm here to help you connect your bank account successfully in QuickBooks Online.

 

There are few possible reasons you're unable connect your bank account in the system.

 

These are the following:

  • Some banks have multiple names on our list. You might want to check and select the correct one, or try all possible links.
  • The bank might not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs. business accounts).
  • Your bank may not be a participating bank. You can contact the bank to request they establish a relationship with Intuit.
  • They are doing some system maintenance.
  • There are alerts in your banks’ websites that need your attention.

If your bank is connected already and transactions are not downloading, let’s manually update the account to refresh its connection. 

 

To do that:

  1. Go to Banking from the left menu.
  2. Select Update on the Banking page.
  3. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials.
  4. Click Continue Update.

However, if the problem continues after performing the steps above, you can log in to the banks' website. Then, check for any notifications or messages that need your attention. Once verified, you can manually update the accounts again.
