Hi. Why does the expenses chart for exactly the same time frame include completely different expense accounts on devices? Online is correct, iOS is not even close.

iOS omits Payroll wages altogether which is my highest expense. Even stranger, if I set the scope to last year, my balance sheet accounts pop to the top and are displayed as expenses in the chart on ios rendering it useless.

Hi daniel-hughes,

The Profit and Loss report through mobile shows graph of your Income, Expenses, and Net Income for the year to date. I have checked it on my end, it shows the payroll expense account. Let's try to do some mobile troubleshooting cause it might be the QBO App is not updating the information.

Once done and if its still not showing the right amount of information, I suggest you contact us so we can investigate this further.

Let me know if you need further assistance. I'm always happy to help!

Hi!

Sounds good.

When I click the "mobile troubleshooting" link above, I get a dead link.

Thanks,

Dan

Me again!

I searched and found this: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Other-questions/Mobile-app/m-p/247783#M12571

I tried all these:

- I logged on and off of the mobile app.

- Refreshed the data from the help menu

- Uninstalled, rebooted the phone, and reinstalled the app

None fixed my chart issue.

Also, to note, I am, not using Quickbooks Payroll so likely don't have the standard accounts, but would expect the chart on the phone to match the browser, and the browser looks fine.

Thanks.

Hi. Why does the expenses chart for exactly the same time frame include completely different expense accounts on devices? Online is correct, iOS is not even close.

Hello @daniel-hughes,

Currently, QuickBooks Mobile does not support viewing certain types of expense accounts. You can view a more detailed reporting of your accounts through a browser. To add, your total expense is reflected under your Profit & Loss which matches the report on your browser.

In the meantime, please consider checking your QuickBooks charts online to get a clearer view of how your business is doing.

If you have other concerns, I’m always ready to help.

Hi! Thanks for the response.

I understand, but it does seem like a bug and basically renders the chart in the mobile app useless.

Thanks for helping me understand the issue.

Dan
