When invoices are sent via email, a default template used for the body of the email. How can I modify that email template? Note: I know how do modify the invoice template, this question applies to the body of the email.
The customer's total balance shows in the email instead of just the total invoiced amount, which is confusing to customers.

Thank you, but I'm wondering how to modify the full template? Is there any way to modify the total account balance or at least add text to label the amount as the total account balance?

I appreciate you following the steps provided by my colleague above. Let me add information about customizing the form style of the invoice.
I know you want to edit the invoice email page and add the word Total for the due amount. Currently, this feature is not available in QuickBooks Online. However, you can add some information every time you send an email but not in the Custom Form Style.
