How to create an Invoice and then send it to more than one customers?

Hi Tezreeves,

In QuickBooks Online, we're unable to select multiple customers when creating a single invoice. You'll want to create an invoice for each customer's percentage.

Then, follow the steps provided by my colleague Rubielyn_J on how to send the invoices at once.

Please feel free to add a reply if have any additional questions or other concerns. Take care.

It's a pleasure to have you here in the Community, @Tezreeves.

Let me sort things out for you. When creating an invoice to multiple customers, we create the transaction separately then send them by batch. Here's how:

  1. Open your account, then go to the + New button.
  2. Under Customers, select Invoice.
  3. Choose a customer from the Customer ▼ dropdown.
  4. Review the Invoice date and due date in the Terms ▼ dropdown.
  5. From the Product/Service column, select a product or service, and enter the necessary information.
  6. Once done, click the Save button.

After, you can now send those invoices that you made by batch. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to Sales at the left navigation pane.
  2. Choose Invoices.
  3. Put a checkmark to those invoices you want to send to your customers.
  4. Click the Batch actions dropdown, then select Send invoices.

If you want to keep track of your customer's payments, you can check out this article: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

Please don't hesitate to drop a comment below if you have other concerns. I'd be glad to assist you as soon as I can. Keep healthy and safe.

How to create an Invoice and then send it to more than one customers?

Thank you for your response, what I am attempting to do is create one invoice for a total amount then have this invoice split to multiple customers based on the percentage of total invoice for each customer.

How to create an Invoice and then send it to more than one customers?

Thank you for the information, I had been told this was the case.

Is their any add-ons that can enable this but still send invoices from QBO.

Or will this be looked at as future enhancement for QBO.

I am sure Im not the only one who wishes this could be a function of QBO

Hello Tezreeves,

We can't suggest add-ons or other third-party applications that can do it. However, you can try looking at the Apps menu for the supported apps. If you find an application and need assistance of the integration, you can reach out to the third-party application's support.

Meanwhile, you can review the QuickBooks Blog to see what's new to the program.

We appreciate your feedback and suggestions. This would help us know where to focus the enhancements to suit your business needs.
