How to Import Inventory Items with Customer Fields.

importing inventory was available at the start, custom fields for inventory items is a recent addition

the import has not been updated to match the additions

when will it?  who knows when or even if it will be

This is a lapse in the implementation of the Custom fields then.

I hope a fix in progress or at least the dev has taken note of this;

as this a major flaw in the idea of being able to bulk import inventory data into QuickBooks.

While the option to import inventory items with custom fields is currently unavailable, I'll go ahead and take note of this. Our Product Engineers are always looking for an idea from users on how to improve QuickBooks Online (QBO).

It's dreadful having to load 50-100+ inventory items via import, 

then having to manually tag the custom fields one-by-one in QuickBooks.

You could say that it's counter-"intuit"ive. :)
