I am trying to connect my n8n automation application to my quickbooks online account. I'm getting a "Uh oh, there's a connection problem." error message

I get a popup window when I try to log in to my QuickBooks Online account that reads: "Uh oh, there's a connection problem. Sorry, but the app didn't connect. Please try again later, or contact customer support for help."

I am trying to connect my n8n automation application to my quickbooks online account. I'm getting a "Uh oh, there's a connection problem." error message

In relation to the error message you've got which was "Uh oh, there's a connection problem. Sorry, but the app didn't connect. Please try again later, or contact customer support for help.", I've found a content that you may want to check out from the Intuit developer page, thad5.

On the other hand, the "ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT" message suggests interference from security protocols or browser configurations. This warrants immediate attention to your browser's security settings and network environment. For this reason, what we suggest is reach out directly the n8n support to successfully integrate your n8n automation application to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

Please note that you can reach out the Intuit developer community if the app is developed by Intuit.

Thank you for raising this concern to us, @thad5.There could be two reasons for the N8N application's inability to link with QuickBooks: either your browser is experiencing glitches or there is an issue with the application itself. Let's work together to figure it out!

To address this, we can start by troubleshooting your browser to see if the connection issue gets resolved. Please open an incognito window by using the following keyboard shortcuts based on the type of browser you are using:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Using this private browsing mode, go to the QuickBooks Online (QBO) page and attempt to connect the application again to see if it's successful. If it works in private browsing, clear your regular browser's cache to refresh the system. If it doesn't work, try using a different supported browser.

If the issue persists, I recommend you contact the 3rd party application and check if they can integrate with QuickBooks.

Moreover, you can check this article for guidance on how to fix issues with the apps in QuickBooks Online: Fix app issues.

Furthermore, you can utilize this article to learn about the third-party app connection: Apps that work with QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, I'd like to introduce our QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping Assisted service, designed to ensure accurate financial records. Our team of experts is ready to assist with matching and categorizing your transaction, and reconciling your accounts. This service is intended to save you valuable time, giving you the freedom to focus on growing your business!

I can log in to Quickbooks without any problem from any browser. I tried switching browsers, clearing the cach and history, refreshing, and still get the same error. I can get all the way to entering the code sent to my phone, and then flipped to the error window.

I'll try going to the 3rd party developer, but it seems that the error is coming from the QuickBooks side of things.

Here is the error its triggering:
