You can replace the logo instead, Ray.
Once the company logo has been uploaded, there's no option to delete it. I've got two options that might work for you:
Here's how:
If you don't want to see a logo in QBO, I'd suggest using the blank white picture. This way, you don't have to delete your company file and start over.
It would be great to see an option to delete a logo. I highly recommend sending feedback to our engineers to have this feature added in a future update. Here's the link to share your thoughts and suggestions about QBO: https://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
This is a major flaw. You should easily be able to remove the image. Having a user to set a new ‘blank’ or complete white image is very disappointing! Shame! I think someone in the developement team should give me a call - if they cannot code this into a simple command, I will gladly give some guidance on how to do this.
It's great to see you here in the Community, @Nissaya. Removing the image of your company logo is a good option. However, it isn't currently available in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
You can consider the recommendation of my colleague above to either upload a blank white picture or replace the logo with the updated one.
Furthermore, we have a separate forum that handles the suggestions from our customers in improving the system. This is the place where developers engage with others to discuss programming issues. With this, I'd recommend posting your concerns from there so our product developers can consider your recommendation to provide an option to remove the company logo. Let me guide you how.
Moreover, you can personalize your QuickBooks account to work the way you want it. You can change your company settings and turn on additional features in the Accounts and Settings menu. For the detailed information, kindly refer to this article: Edit company settings in QuickBooks Online. It also contains the description of each section and what modification you can make.
Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help.
Hi, when setting up Quickbooks in 2018 I uploaded a logo which has been fine to date. Yesterday I uploaded two additional images to see how different ones would look. This changed with no problem and let me delete the old one. However now I want to revert to the original image but it will not le me delete the one uploaded yesterday. Why did this work yesterday but not toady? Is there anything I can do to select a different image from those uploaded?
Welcome to the Community, skippy787.
That's great to hear you found where to delete company logos in QuickBooks Online. I had to experiment with it myself in our test drive account to find how because there's currently no resources which directly explain it. The process is a little bit tricky and there's actually multiple ways to add/delete these types of images. I'll guide you through the easiest method for how to manage company logos in your books.
I've gone ahead and caught up with where you were at yesterday, after adding the two additional images. In the animated image below, I'll repeat what you did up to that point. This will have us pretty much on the same page.
In the animation above, notice when I have multiple logos uploaded, one of them must always be selected. What this means is once an image is set as your company logo, there must always be one on file. However, you can upload more images (to where you've at least two uploaded), then change to a new one and delete other ones that aren't in use. So, for example, if you have only one image uploaded and it's selected/saved as your company logo, you won't be able to delete it until a new image is uploaded and selected/saved to replace the old one, then you'll see options to remove it from your books.
Now that we're both at the same point, I'll show you how to change to a different image (or revert back, as you wish to do) and remove the one you've saved as the current logo in use:
1. Open Account and Settings.
2. In the Company Name section, click the edit (✏️) icon.
3. Hit the plus (+) icon displayed on the bottom right side of your current logo to pull up the Logos window.
4. Hit the plus (+) icon to add a new image.
5. Select your original logo you'd like to revert back to (or any image), then hit Open (or you can double-click the image to initiate the uploading process).
6. After the upload completes, you'll notice you still don't have options to delete the image(s) you don't want to use. This is normal, because even though a new image has been uploaded, the one you no longer want to use is still saved as your main logo in use. To change this, click on the new image (or any not currently in use) so that it's selected, then press the green Save button to complete your changes. This will bring you back to the Account and Settings screen.
7. Now you'll be reverted back to the old logo you originally had on file (or whichever image you chose). You can click on the plus (+) icon displayed on the bottom right side of your Company logo to re-access the Logos window and delete any additional images which you no longer want on file.
After completing the walk-through above, you'll now be using whatever image you selected and uploaded for your company logo. The part that gets a bit confusing is around steps six and seven. You won't see a delete (x) icon when moving your cursor over an image if it's currently saved as your Company logo. However, you will see the option to delete it once you've saved a different image to be used in it's place:
I've included an extensive article which you might find useful. It isn't directly about deleting logos, however it does go over how to hide them from displaying on sales forms: Add, customize, or hide logos on sales forms

Thank you for the details. However, when I use this approach, I only get a blank screen and nothing happens.
How can I avoid this? I usually have to force close the screen and restart again, before I can use the app.
It seems frozen for a reason.
Please can someone help?
Thanks for joining the Community and getting involved with this thread, myba13.
Since you're encountering a blank screen and freezing pages while using QuickBooks, I'd recommend checking your browser. It's possible this could have something to do with temporary internet files. Browsing applications store these types of records, but sometimes they can cause issues with certain webpages. You can open a private window and check to see if pages load properly.
Here's how to access incognito mode in some of the most commonly used web browsers:
If screens are loading correctly while browsing privately, it's safe to say this problem's being caused by your browser. It can be fixed by clearing cached data and Intuit-specific cookies.
In the event screens continue not loading properly while browsing in incognito mode, you'll initially want to try switching to another browsing application.
Here's a list of supported browsers:
QuickBooks supports the current and two previous versions of browsers. If you find that you're using an unsupported version, make sure to update it to its latest release. Steps for doing so can be found on the particular company's website.
In the event you've found no problems that could be causing this with your browser, you'll want to check the operating system and internet speed you're working with.
Here's our recommended operating systems and internet speeds:
If you meet our system requirements, but are still encountering blank screens and freezing pages, I'd recommend using a different device and/or internet connection. If it continues happening on other devices and internet connections, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
They can be reached while you're signed in.
Here's how:
Be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.
I've also included a detailed resource about system requirements for QuickBooks which may come in handy moving forward: System requirements
I'll be here to help if there's any additional questions. Have an awesome Thursday!
