I paid for the trial but a new Quickbooks account was opened

A few days ago I opened my Quickbooks trial account to set it up and start creating clients and invoices. Today I decided to pay for the Simple Star Plan and a new account was opened. can i solve this somehow? I need to use the old account because I already had clients and invoices uploaded there.

When you click the Buy button on their website, you will open a new blank QBO account and pay for it at a discounted rate. You must log into your trial account as the Primary Admin, navigate to the Billing and Subscription menu and pay at the regular rate. Make sure to cancel your new QBO account to avoid double billing next month.

I’ll make sure this concern will gets settled, @Cuartel.

Our Community backer Fiat Lux – ASIA, is correct. Clicking the Buy option will create a new QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. You should select the Subscribe button under your Billing & Subscription page instead to continue using your trial account. I’m glad to show you the steps:

  1. Open your QBO trial account.
  2. Select the Gear icon, then Account and settings.
  3. Go to the Billing & Subscription.
  4. Click Subscribe.

Make sure to cancel your new QBO company to prevent double billing in your next monthly charge.

I’ve attached this illuminating guide to help you set up completely: Getting Started in QBO. You can also bookmark our Resource Center. It has free tools and bookkeeping basics you need to organize your company files and ensure they’re accurate.
