You can open the sent invoice itself in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @denis5. This way, you'll be able to look at the edited message sent with an invoice and manage your transactions accordingly.
Let's locate the sent invoice transaction either in the All Sales or Customers tab and filter it from over a month ago. The All Sales tab list all your sales transactions. While the Customers tab lets you view the invoice by visiting your customer's Transaction List tab. For the All Sales page, here's how:
I've attached screenshots below for your reference.

This didn't give me the answer. Its not the Message on Invoice field I need to see. It's the email message to the customer

This is just the standard message in the template. Many estimates and sometimes invoices are customized each time with more detail. How do I look up the actual email sent to a specific customer?
I am also looking for this information. I need to be able to see the body of the email that I send along with the invoice. I don’t use a standard email template but rather send a custom message to each customer when sending an invoice. Once in a while I need to look back on those personalized emails. Do we know how to do this?
I would also like to know how to see the body of the email sent along with an invoice. I often write personalized emails, not messages on the invoice but the actual message on the email, when sending an invoice and at times need to go back and confirm that information was communicated through that email.

Writing a personal message in your email's body will show on the recipient's end. Please be advised that the system will revert to the default email setup.
Moving forward, I recommend you utilize the CC/BCC field using your business email to have a copy of the original message sent to your customer.
