Recently I went from a Quick books 2009 to a Quick books 2014 was able to save all my data and move it forward to 2014. It was working fine and now all of a sudden it doesn't work again and I keep getting the error message.
I'm using Windows 7 and I did all the upgrades already.

"Recently?" QB 2014 reached End of Life in May 2017. You should have moved to QB 2019, now. There are no Updates for QB 2014 since May 2017. Worse, your data file still is 5 years behind current; Intuit has a 3-year lifecycle.
Get QB 2019. Have Intuit update that file all the way to QB 2019 for you.
This is really annoying. I just purchased QB Desktop 2020 on May 28. Since then, I've had to uninstall and reinstall eight times due to 'Error 3371.' Your automated Tool Hub is ineffective.
Conveniently, QB support blames Microsoft. The problem is with your software, why don't you fix it?
If your problem persists after installed it on Win 10, try reinstall and run on compatibility mode Win 8.1
Same problem persists while running in compatibility mode for Windows 8 (8.1 is not an option).
I've attempted to attach screenshots of error messages I get. It is useless to continually have to uninstall and reinstall QuickBooks. I am fed up with this!
I will have to tell my boss that your software needs to be returned to seller because it won't open!
Hello there, @jmarc.
This is not the impression we want you to have when installing your QuickBooks Desktop 2020.
To help resolve the error code, we'll need to ensure Ensure Windows is up to date as the system requirement states that QuickBooks 2020 is only compatible with Windows 8.1.
To install your latest Windows updates, I suggest consulting your IT to assist you with the process successfully.
Also, you can check out this article about fixing error 3371 in QuickBooks Desktop.
Let me know if you have further concerns. I'll be here to help you out. Keep safe and healthy.
Please do not talk to me like I'm an idiot.
I am running Windows 10. I've installed all the latest updates as well as the recent major feature update released this month.
Your QuickBooks Premier 2020 will not run. I continually get Error Code 3371, as I have stated (please read the previous comments so you can be up to date). Your ToolHub does not fix anything.
It is not my fault that your program cannot run, it is not Microsoft's fault.
Your software is defective.
This isn't the impression we want to leave with you, @jmarc.
I appreciate you doing all the possible troubleshooting steps to fix this error. I further checked in here for possible under investigation issues but found none.
We can install the trial version of QuickBooks Desktop on to your computer. Or download your version to another another computer.
If you still get the same error, I recommend contacting our support team. They can further check and provide you additional steps to fix this.
Please let me know how it goes. I'd be around the Community to guide you. Have a nice day.
I did not realize that QB offered an actual qualified support team. Instead, I wasted more time and frustration with you.
Why don't you make yourself useful and relay the information that I've provided you to your support team, so I don't have to keep repeating over and over to everyone?
You have my email, your support team can contact me if they have a solution. Otherwise, I will tell my boss to ship this garbage back to the seller.
Hi there, jmarc.
I do appreciate the time and effort performing the steps provided by my colleagues. Our Phone Support Team can give you a callback so they can call you at your convenience.
Here's how:
Also, due to COVID-19, we have limited staffing and have reduced our support hours to 6 AM-6 PM PT Monday-Friday.
Thank you for your patience. Take care and stay safe always!
Hello? Anybody home?
I keep telling you, QuickBooks won't open!
From that premise, it would stand to reason that your Help menu is not accessible.
I'VE ALREADY UNINSTALLED AND REINSTALLED YOUR STUPID PROGRAM NINE TIMES IN LESS THAN A MONTH! Each uninstall and reinstall takes 1.5 hours!
You and your team are so useless, you're pathetic.
There are 3 other troubleshoot options:
1. Install the trial license of QB Desktop Enterprise
2. Install the trial license of QB 2019 Pro edition. Send your business email address in a private message to us for the installer
3. Install any trial license on other machine.
