I've been asking Quickbooks for a way to disable the constant bombardment of advertising for a over a year, and it only gets worse. I'm done. Over 2k/year I'm paying for this garbage.
I don't want to process payments, I don't want to 'bridge a gap in funding', I don't need your capital, or workers comp, none of it. And never will. SO WHY THE CONSTANT POP-UP ADS? At the level we're paying, your clients are working professionals and you CLEARLY have no respect for our time or intelligence.
We're done. Community: please leave suggestions for alternative software here.
We don't want our customers to feel that way, Ddoyle1. We all respect you for choosing Intuit as your accounting partner.
While the option to turn off the pop-ups is unavailable, you'll have to click X or No, thanks to close them out.
I'll support you by sharing this concern with our management team. This will be passed along to our software developers and will be reviewed.
With regard to an alternative software, you might want to check our Desktop version. You can visit our website to know the comparison of each product.

No pop-up ads in QuickBooks Desktop. Maybe you should migrate to it
Are you high? Why would I give any more money to this awful, shortsighted company? There are finally rival products in the market - we're moving on.
Email me or call. I'm an Enrolled Agent so I am independent and would be happy to discuss your options.

How many times do we have to not want or close out of the same advertisement. If you didn't want us to feel that way you would stop doing it.

Hello, @Angella2.
I understand how it takes when something is blocking our screen while working with QuickBooks. The steps provided by Kristine Mae is the workaround we can do for now to remove the pop-ups that show up.
Let me have the opportunity to take note of this information and send the suggestion to our product engineers. This way, they'll be able to know our customer/s needs and be able to work on with this in the coming updates.
