We just migrated from QB Enterprise over to QB Online. I have hundreds of old jobs that are now all "active" which is an incredible pain. QBO will not let me make them inactive, I get an error message saying "there are unbilled charges for this customer." What is the best way to clean this up? Alternatively, can I go back and re-sync from QB desktop from a certain start date as opposed to my 15 year company history?
Hello there, @talesch. I can help you with your concern in QuickBooks Online.
We're unable to make the job inactive. What we can do is run the unbilled charges report to see all unbilled charges, then open and uncheck the billable box.

Additionally, lease refer to this article to see details on how the Sales page gives you the summary of your customer's transactions like open and paid invoices: View sales transactions.
If you need anything else, feel free to post a reply. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Have a great day ahead!
Thanks for your reply! This solution did not work for us. We ended up purging the new company in QBO and resyncing with Desktop starting in 2021. Apparently the entire company history was too much for QBO to handle. Will see if this solves the problem. Thanks again!
