New Layout reverting back by itself??

I am also having this issue. I am getting tired of how quickbooks online has me trapped in their system with all of my information. What actual F*** is going on? They upped their fee to 30$/month and I didn't cry. Its time to fix this.

They wont even allow me to leave bad feedback. Ive tried to do it a few times now. This corporation run America bulls*** is insane. We need to take the power back.

Intuit is the worst company I've ever dealt with.  And that's in a world with AT&T and Comcast.  Absolutely inept and even worse, immoral.

This issue seems to have been around for a very long time.

I am still experiencing it. I am guessing it is because I use a customised invoice layout, and most or my invoices are created semi-automatically using Send Later. 

But really, what is taking so long to sort here? It seems bizarre to offer the new layout if it doesn't work.

I understand how frustrating it is especially when you've invested time and effort in customizing your invoice layout to suit your needs. Invoice forms are updated for better usability and upgraded technology. However, some features may be temporarily unavailable during the transition.

 

Possible reason why updated Invoice layout reverts to old is because unsupported features from the old layout are still active. 

 

To fix this, do the following:

 

  • Have the Primary Admin confirm price rules are off and they won't re-enable them.
  • Verify if multi-currency is enabled (can cause conflicts).
  • Check if old customizations (letterhead, account summary, column edits) are interfering.
  • Confirm the QBO subscription (Essentials may block new layout; Plus/Advanced required in some cases).

On the other-hand, you can try updating the layout in an incognito Chrome window on a different device/network to rule out browser cache or extensions.

 

If issue persists, I recommend contacting our Live Support team to ensure you get the most accurate solution and assistance.

  2. Select either tab to get started:
