We quickly updated our POS 19.0 Pro to R10 on Friday, hoping that it would solve our pin pad woes. Not only did they not have one fix for the known pin pad issues, we now have a very lengthy Intuit Payments message at the bottom of the receipt. Does anyone know how to remove this? Not only do I find it completely unnecessary, It's a good 2.5 inches below the end of what should be the bottom of the receipt. This has and will continue to waste a tremendous amount of receipt paper and should be something that's completely optional for each business. I cannot for the life of me figure out why Intuit continues to push out updates that don't improve anything, but make all our lives more difficult.

This should be something that can be fixed in a matter of minutes on your end. I have contacted point of sale support. I've called, emailed and left this post. I'm sure we will be waiting months for this fix as well.
This long receipt is totally absurd and uncalled for! I do not wish to participate in the advertising of intuit payments nor do I want to waste receipt paper on this stupid new format
Couldn't agree more!
I was told 2 days ago that it is a requirement and can not be removed. Of course they had no response as to whether or not they will supplement my paper purchases. We pay enough for the program- We shouldn't have to advertise- at least let us change the font size and placement!!!! Totally unacceptable
You know as well as us that we will not get to talk to a human who can effect any change- All you are doing on this email is avoiding the subject.
The R10 release removed the signature line and work order comments from our receipts. We dont use them for CC purchases so they completly removed everything after the item body.
Are they ever going to fix this? It's such a waste!!
Let me share some information about Intuit payments message which is part of R10, JZerr.
I can see the importance is this for your business needs. The minimum required fields and disclosures for Intuit Payments Licenses are added to receipts where credit, debit, and gift card payments are processed using Intuit QuickBooks Payments. To learn more, you can check the Intuit Payments Licenses by state.

Fill me in if you have any concerns about Intuit Payments. I'll always be here to help.
Even if this is required, which it's not, it does not need to be 2 inches below the receipt. This is such an easy fix and has cost us so much money in wasted receipt paper. I'll be sending the President's offer a letter on this as it's completely unacceptable that it has lasted this long.
In a nut shell..
Intuit owes us for a returned Lane 5000 pin pad that was returned with an RMA and confirmation that it was received. They refused to refund our money and we disputed with our bank. Then they billed our card again for it.
The Lane 5000 firmware for intuit is crap. The software holds us up every day for "connecting to pin pad."
The tap and/or dip feature rarely works. The support from intuit sucks bad always! We are absolutely looking for other options since the company sucks so bad and I hate the fact that we are using their merchant services.
Now they add their stupid message to every receipt without a way to turn it off. If I print to a letter size receipt, it takes two sheets of paper.
So yesterday I call to explain that I don't want this on our receipts because the last thing I want to do is promote a company that is awful. Here is what they send me..
Please tell that their is a lawyer on this thread that is willing to launch a class action lawsuit. This company is truly a disgrace.
Please don't reply with some bs link...Intuit and their "support" (haha) are a joke...what a mistake to do their forced upgrade of software and hardware.
Oh yeah...we tell EVERY customer how awful Intuit is while we fight with their credit card tap not working and phone dip not working. Please don't tell me to reinstall the drivers and hardware.
PLEASE join with me in sending the office of the President a letter on these issues. I feel if enough of us take this simple step, we might get some fixes with this. I'm going to do mine now...they're promising a response within 24 hours. If you're reading this, please do it with me.
I just did...
Not expecting any resolution to any of my issues that have plagued us since the get go ...can't even get a refund for returned hardware because nobody has ever taken an interest in helping us...
The receipt message is a joke...I WILL NOT PROMOTE INTUIT VIA MY RECEIPTS EVEN IF I HAVE TO CUT IT OFF EACH ONE MANUALLY
Any update to removing this stupid receipt message?
NO...OF COURSE NOT
Maria Soledad G
We do not use Intuit for our Payments, therefore it is an issue for us to have that disclaimer on our receipts, as well as misinformation for our customers.
Please let me know how to remove it.
Thank you
Rob
Yeah gotta get that removed. I am going to bill Intuit for my paper. Then bill them an advertising fee if they want use me for their advertising! This is needs to be fixed!!
