window did up date to 11 now QuickBooks pro 2018 doesn't open

i try everything i know have no luck any help will be greatly appreciated

Yes, upgrading your OS will often break QuickBooks and other applications.

First thing I'd try is to Repair QuickBooks from the Windows add/remove programs control panel, and then restart your computer.

That noted, QuickBooks 2018 wasn't designed for Windows 11, so I'm not sure it's even supposed to work.

Intuit says only QuickBooks 2022 is officially supported using Windows 11. See

Try to reinstall your QBD 2018 in compatibility mode Win 7.
