Opting out of advertising pop-ups in QBO

The ads are designed to give easy access to features and products some customers may want to utilize for their business. I get that it doesn’t work for everyone.

I'll be happy to walk you through how to close the pop-up advertisements in your QuickBooks.  For now, you can click on the X or No, thanks buttons so it won't keep from showing up.

Thank you very much. I use both Chrome and Edge...Edge is much faster on my computer than chrome...is there a workaround for Edge?

Everyone has their own preference for using a browser to access websites. It's a personal choice that varies on the navigation experience and how features are accessed.

Microsoft Edge is one of the supported web browsers for QuickBooks Online. It also supports third-party apps and extensions like Chrome.

However, we can't suggest an app you can use to prevent ads and pop-ups from showing. You can search manually or contact Microsoft Customer Service for further assistance.

Extensions may analyze your search queries and other data. Things are even worse when it comes to malicious extensions. I recommend doing some research first or reading reviews to verify the identity.
