Packing List PO Number

This morning QBO ceased printing our customer PO number (as entered on the invoice) on the packing list.  Any ideas why this would be?

The canned QB response is that packing lists are not customizable (which is correct) however historically the PO number (added as a custom field on the invoice) has transferred automatically to their standard packing list template.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, @ctmorgan78.

To check if this is a browser-related (cache and cookies) issue, try signing into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) using a private browser (incognito). There are times that the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources, causing some unusual responses.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once logged in, try to print your packing list/slip again to double-check. Refer to this article for further guidance: Create and print a packing slip.

If the customer PO number is showing, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

Unfortunately this is a client issue, that is replicated on my end.  Using an inprivate/incognito session or different browsers does not seem to have any impact at all.
