I am trying to buy QB DT pro 2024. Sales on top of the screen at Intuit says Weekend hours- it is untrue. Anny Suggestions? I got a quote last week from Intuit Sales for $649. Year.
Thanks for following up with the Community, @Zola_de_Firmi.
Let me provide information about the QuickBooks Desktop subscriptions.
Yes, the current annual price of QuickBooks Desktop is $649. However, please note that the subscription prices for QBDT Pro, Mac Plus, and Premier Plus will change on or after October 1, 2024. For customers who signed up on or after February 1, 2024, the current price will remain unchanged for the first six months of their subscription, after which the price may be adjusted.
Moreover, if you currently have an active promotional discount, your price will remain the same until the end of the promotion.
I'll also add this article to learn how you can get started with QBDT: Get started with QBDT
If you have further concerns about the QBDT subscriptions, please tag me in the comment section, @Zola_de_Firmi. I'll assist you in any way possible.
You can only purchase new licenses during business hours. If you need to run QB Desktop 2024 Pro Plus now, you can request a temporary license from a partner while they process your license. You can also get $100 cashback.
Hi Clark,
Thank you, I chose that option.
Question: I assumed I now can download qbo data, or manually import it.
I really do not want all the transactions to automatically fill in. I want to selectively do it quarter by quarter. Using a QBO file, manually importing hasn't got the Bank account I need showing. It was connected before, and does show data in the Bank Feeds Center.
PLEASE SAY is there a way to connect the checking account again but not have automatical down load of all those transactions?
Thank you so much, Clark. I am so behind due to the QB fiasco.
Bit the bullet.
Wish this would be working now.
regards,
Zola [removed]
Thanks for the reply on the thread, Zola.
You can definitely reconnect your old checking account in QuickBooks Desktop.
When your checking account is linked to QuickBooks Desktop, the software will automatically retrieve transactions from your bank up to a specified date.
If a transaction has already been manually uploaded, there is a possibility of receiving duplicate transactions. In such cases, it is recommended to disregard the duplicated transaction that has been downloaded.
I will include this article so that you have a guide to learn how to download bank feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.
Let me know in the comments below if you have further questions about the bank transactions. I'm just around to help.
Thanks. To restate, and clarify what I need right now:
I want to selectively do it quarter by quarter. Using a QBO file, manually importing hasn't got the Bank account I need showing. (It was connected before, and does show data in the Bank Feeds Center.)
PLEASE SAY is there a way to connect the checking account again OR IN SOME WAY make my bank account show up in the drop down under, select bank account. 2 other accounts DO show up in the drop down, my savings, and an older checking account. They show, even though I am NOT connected with bank feeds.
Thanks so much for your pretty swift reply today! I am back at my desk and hoping to continue, making progress with this asap.
Zola
Allow me to chime in on this thread and guide you on checking your bank account status in your QuickBooks Desktop, Zola.
An inactive account status can make your account a no-show in the dropdown when selecting bank accounts. Let me direct you to check your account and make it active again if it was inactive. Kindly follow the steps provided below:
Once you have configured it, you can then now see your account on the dropdown selections. You can understand more about this discussion through this article: Add, edit, or delete accounts in QuickBooks Desktop.
Additionally, understand the reconciliation workflow in QuickBooks Desktop to review your accounts and ensure they match your bank and credit card statements.
Let me know if you need further assistance with your bank account using QuickBooks Desktop, Zola. The Community will be at your aid 24/7.
Thanks, but the account being inactive is NOT the cause of it missing from the menu.
I disconnected this my primary, active business checking account back before my access expired, because TOO much data with dupes had downloead.
Fast Forward. I then lost access, and ultimately BOUGHT QBDT again in order to be able to download transcations. I prefer to bring the file of QBO onto PC from bank, then import that.
This way, I choose exactly how much and which months flow in on the downloading.
Can't I do this now? I PAID FOR THE PROGRAM AT HIGH COST TO ME.
This is hurtful and distressing.
I cannot afford this and it is not functioning. I need real help.
What STEPS do I follow to be able to view my checking account with fresh data that I choose to download?
Zola
I'll address your concern about managing bank feeds in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), Zola.
Once you connect your online banking, the application defaults to work on downloading transactions automatically. Thus, connecting this and controls from what date of transactions to download isn't possible.
There are only two ways to connect your account, Zola. You can either have it via direct connect, which is the method of connecting your online banking and automatically setting up everything for you, including downloading your transactions. The other one is managing bank feeds with web connect (.QBO) files which you prefer as your option.
Connecting with web connect (.QBO) files is suggested for company files that banks don't offer a direct connection. If you prefer its process and have already connected your bank account to your QBDT file, you'll have to disconnect your bank feeds to your bank or credit card.
Furthermore, you can visit these resources to categorize your transactions and reconcile your account. Doing so will put your transactions in the correct category and avoid any discrepancies in your books:
Keep me posted if you have additional questions about banking concerns in QuickBooks. I'm just a post away to help you. Take care!
PLEASE reply to MY specific need here. I do appreciate your response!
Much of it was not directed to the ISSUE I ACTUALLY HAVE:
(I followed your link first, then to another and THEN several more to get to THIS which is telling about what I have described as my STUCK PLACE, BELOW:)
RED LETTERS AND BOLD ARE EXCERPT ABOUT MY STUCK SPOT.
If your bank doesn't offer direct connect, you can download a file (.QBO) with your company's transactions from your bank or credit card. Then you import that file to QuickBooks to add those transactions to your accounts.
If your bank offers Web Connect:

Thanks for getting back to us, Zola. I appreciate you for providing additional information about your concern.
To clarify, you want your previously disconnected bank account to reappear in the Select Bank Account dropdown. Additionally, you'd like the ability to select the date range for the transactions you import by quarter.
Here's what we can do: we'll download your bank entries using Web Connect, allowing you to set a specific date range for the download. Then, you can import them into QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). I'm here to walk you through the process.
Follow these steps:
It's important to note that some banks may not offer this option. If this is the case, you'll automatically download the maximum number of entries available the first time.
Import your transactions to QBDT
After that, you can match your transactions and reconcile your accounts to ensure your records remain accurate.
Feel free to return to this thread if you need further assistance or have other concerns. It's always a pleasure to help you out. Take care.
Why do you want me to create a new account?
The accounts that are missing exist. They are simply not visible in the drop down menu for select account, when I am importing form my Specific QBO FILE.
When I am logged in both to Intuit, and to my bank. The bank feeds center does show missing accounts, but just NOT in the drop down to select account to import transactions from qbo file.

SIDE NOTE: YEARS BACK THIS HAPPENED, SO...
I Did create a new account download data then merge the existing account with the newly created one. I DON'T LIKE DOING THAT.
Zola
Let's troubleshoot the issue that's preventing your accounts from appearing in the dropdown menu when importing transactions into QuickBooks Desktop, Zola.
This behavior might be due to a data integrity issue, so we’ll start by using the Verify and Rebuild tools.
First, close all windows in QuickBooks, and then follow these steps to verify your company data:
If you see an error message, head to our support site for detailed instructions on how to fix it. On the other hand, if you see "Your data has lost integrity," you'll need to proceed to rebuilding your data to fix it. Refer to this article for the steps on how to do so: Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.
If the issue persists after going through the steps above, I recommend reaching out to our live support team. They can further investigate the root cause of the problem and provide real-time assistance regarding this matter. Here's a guide to contacting us: QuickBooks Desktop support. You can also check our support hours in the article to ensure your concerns get addressed promptly.
Once the issue is resolved and you're able to import transactions, you can ensure your QuickBooks accounts align with your real-life bank statements by following this comprehensive resource: Reconcile workflow.
This thread is always open if you need further assistance, Zola. Feel free to drop by again, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Keep safe!
Did as you advised, and then reached out to team. What a mess and failed effort to get help SO COSTLY personally and business wise. I am sick and stressed and it has not worked.
You can explore a workaround. If it works, you can purchase it for $199 one time license and you can get $100 cashback via a partner.
