Look no further. I’d be glad to show you the way how to turn off the Priority Circle notification so you can smoothly manage your sales receipt in QuickBooks without interruptions, @danmarie1.

In QuickBooks Online, you can modify your Marketing Preferences under your Company settings to stop the Priority Circle notification from prompting every time you save and close a sales receipt. Here’s how you do it:

  1. Open your QuickBooks account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Accounts and Settings.
  3. Select the Company tab.
  4. Click Marketing Preferences.
  5. Choose Data privacy.
  6. Under Notifications, click View next to QuickBooks.
  7. Locate Priority Circle and switch it off. Please note that it takes 48 hours to apply your changes.

For a convenient and efficient company setup, you can visit this guide to get more ways and tips: Get started and adjust settings after you sign up for QuickBooks Online. It includes videos to help organize your sales, expenses, and advanced settings.

Hi Team,

The prompt still keeps on showing. Is there any way I could stop this?

Kindly advise.

I admire you for getting back to us and providing an update, @danmarie1. I'll add more information so you can stop the Priority Circle notification prompt in QuickBooks Online.

First, we can double-check your settings by following the steps provided by my colleague above to verify if it's turned off. Thus, the notification prompts whenever you save and close a sales receipt.

If you have just turned off the Priority Circle switch, please know it will take 48 hours before the changes apply. Otherwise, if you've switched it off and the issue persists after 48 hours, you can try logging in to your QBO account using a private window. This way, we can determine if this is a browser-related issue.

Feel free to use either of these keyboard shortcuts to open an incognito window, depending on your browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Shift + Ctrl + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

If it works, you can return to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported, up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.

If the notification still appears, you can contact our QuickBooks Online Support. They can further investigate this matter to find possible fixes.

Let me know how it goes by dropping your reply to this thread to keep me posted on your progress. I'm here to help you in any way I can. Keep safe always.
