Here is the problem I am experiencing...
I have many products that have the first same name but different following names, such as
toilet handle, toilet hardware, toilet valve, etc.
When I start typing the name, such as "toi", my list appears with all various items, as I would expect.
If I click on the item I want, QBO voids my selection and takes me up the the beginning of all my items list (starting with the letter A).
I have found that I have to type enough letters until I get exactly what I want.
THEN, QBO puts that item into my invoice,
Why does it do this if I specifically click on the exact item I want, prior to all letters being entered?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello there, @acm2121.
Yes, that's right. When typing the first name of the item, it'll appear on the item lists on invoices.
As long as the system generates the item lists you need and select them correctly, you should get exactly what you want. In your case, it could be a browser-related issue. You can follow the steps below:
Step 1: Use an incognito window:
This prevents your browser from storing additional cache files that only let you type enough letters to get the correct item. It's a way to check issues caused by a full cache.
Step 2: Delete cache and temporary internet files:
If it works, you can clear cache and temporary internet files to optimize the browser's performance. It will also help delete the information stored in the cache. Another way is to use compatible browsers with QuickBooks Online.
Also, you'll want to personalize your invoice template. You can use this article for more details: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
Please let me know how it goes. I'm always around if you need further assistance, acm2121.

I cleared the cache and temporary files.
SUCCESS!
Thank you very much. I will add that "house cleaning" task to my to-do list on a regular basis.
Thanks again!!
