When opening any invoice, estimate, or customer payment, I can't see the bottom of that window (see below.). If I maximize the window, I CAN see the save and cancel buttons. But this is inconvenient. I can't resize the window because I can't "grab" the bottom, even after moving the dock to the left hand side.
This problem does NOT occur with sales receipts, statement charges, or other per-account forms. Was thinking about deleting my Library / Prefs but I'd rather not lose my customizations.
Any thoughts appreciated.

First, thanks for taking the time to write such a thoughtful reply. I'd abandoned this thread because, well, you read the wacky replies. My favorite was that my BigSur upgrade had turned my Mac into a PC.
Anyway, the fix (and likely cause) of the problem was to move the misshapen forms to an external UHD monitor. With more screen real estate, each problematic form was easy to grab and resize. Quit QB to make sure prefs were saved. Detached external monitor. Reopened QB. Fixed!
I'd argue that what I encountered was a bug. Once a new session starts, a minimized, newly opened form should not exceed the bounds of the target display.
I appreciate the screenshot you've shared, @boberonicus.
Let's get your windows issue sorted out by changing the display and view preferences in your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. Here's how:
Once done, open the software and double-check if you get the same result. If so, let's adjust the view preferences.

Thanks for your help! However, this is a Mac and not a Windows machine. Sorry if that was unclear in my post.
Hi there, boberonicus.
Thank you for coming back here to QuickBooks Community to add more details on the version of the software you're using. The steps shared by my colleague above also apply either QuickBooks Mac or a Windows version.
If you're unable to find those options from the given instructions earlier, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Support Team. They have the tools to check your account to verify why you're unable to see the bottom of some sales forms transactions.
Here's how to contact them:

Cool.
Where is the "Start" button on my Mac?
How do I run quickbooks.exe on my Mac (without a hypervisor)?
Thank you for getting back to us, @boberonicus.
Allow me to provide some clarification about the steps I provided above.
As mentioned by my peer above, the steps to change the display and view settings also works in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. However, the Start menu is only available to an older version of macOS.
Since you're using the latest macOS BigSur versions, it changes to Control Center. Nevertheless, you'll want to look for the QuickBooks Desktop app from your desktop and press right-click, then choose Open file location. And follow the step-by-step process to fix your windows issue.
If you can't still find the preferences, I highly recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can perform a screen-share in a secure environment and guide you through the steps on fixing the display preferences in your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. To reach them, you can use this link.

Cool.

> QuickBooks Desktop app from your desktop and press right-click, then choose Open file location
Like "Control Center", "Open file location" is a Windows construct.
I'm on a Mac. Honest.
Hi - its a little tough to tell from the screenshot if the bottom of the window is actually the bottom of the screen. It seems like it is from your problem description so I'll assume that's the issue.
The Estimate isn't at it's minimum size so you should be able to shrink it. But the grab handles to do so are, as you said, off of the edge of the screen and inaccessible.
First thing I'd try is moving the overall toolbar up to the top of the screen (just below the Mac menu bar). I can see the forums Safari window peaking out above it. I think this could be the issue. Try hitting the green "zoom" button in the Toolbar's window title to see if that parks it at the top. If it doesn't drag it up there so it is just under the Mac system menu. Once that is done I'm hoping you can drag the Estimates window up to the top and that will be enough to expose the bottom and right side of the estimates window. From there I'm hoping it will stick so when you reopen it you'll be all set.
If that doesn't work you could try the Windows->Workspaces menu to save window positions after you zoom and fix the estimates window. But at that point I think you'd be better off throwing out the QuickBooks Prefs. Quit QB and then in the Finder hold down the option key and choose Go->Library. Find the Preferences folder in the Library window and double click on it. Find the com.intuit.quickbooks2019.plist file and drag it to the trash. Relaunch QB and hopefully you are back to the original settings.
