Curious you ask file size?
I'm having the same errors as this OP, tried everything to fix?
File size is 3.8 GB, wondering if that isn't related?
Only having problem with one workstations, others are working?
Run the Condense Data utility to remove all data prior to 1/1/2024 for trial purpose. Ask users to access the condensed file in the multiuser mode. Did you encounter the same problem?

WE have an ongoing issue of our system freezing up since we updated to QB 2024. If I knew what accounting software to move to, I would move in a heartbeat. We spend all the money and time trying to get this to work, and it is an ongoing issue. I have been using QB for 30 years and instead of it getting better it gets worse every year. At this point, I am a seriously unhappy customer.
I also started having this issue two days ago after installing the latest update to QBDT Enterprise 23. I have tried everything I can think of, and worked with Quickbooks support for four hours, but they don't know. They are blaming the computer lol. It's been working fine for years, an update gets installed, it breaks, and now it's the computers fault.

For the past couple weeks, Quickbooks online with contractors is not usable. It's slow and the screen freezes. We pay at least 50+ contractors every month and I can't pay them when Quickbooks is freezing up. I called, and got this case number: 15118565509. I was essentially told QB is aware of the issue but no timeframe to fix it. Here is what I have to say, if you can't get this fixed and fixed yesterday, I am going to go with different software. I don't want desktop software, I use online. QB keeps going up on their cost and then what we get isn't usable. Thanks.

Frankly, they couldn't be bothered to address any threat of throwing QBO out the window. You can use a free billing management app to sync with QBO temporarily as a workaround. Alternatively, convert your data to QB Desktop and use the trial version to access historical data for good. Then you'll start over in a new system to lower your conversion costs.
