Problem occurs with QB 2021 and 2022 so far. Create a qbm file in premier. DO the loop restore to condense dictionary index. When I go back to the file folder to try an do anything with the qbm file, the windows explorer window closes. Can't delete the file without moving everything but the qbm file to another folder and then wiping the folder.
Can't even delete the folder because it says it's being used in a process. Verified and rebuilt multiple data files and the same thing happens. No errors detected. Tried File Doctor nothing. Tried chkdsk to check for errors. Nothing. This cannot continue. Will call Intuit when someone is there. sent Feed back from within the program. Latest Win 10 64-bit updates are installed. Really tired of technology.

How big is your QBW file size?
Called the Pro Advisor Hotline just now and spoke with Nancy. She was able to replicate the error, so she forwarded this to engineering. As an aside, I looked at some other QBM files on my computer. Not an issue with QB 2015, but is an issue with QB v 2019-22 on my system. Appreciate all of you out there in the community. Don't always get a solution on the first try, but there are a lot of helpful ideas. Glad I called support and found out that it's not an issue just for me.
150MB
Actually spoke with Intuit this AM and they were able to replicate the error. Ball is in their court.
Thank you for your question. I thought of that too, but data verification showed no issues.
Consider to open the sample file and create the QBM file to isolate the issue.
Been there done that. It's in Intuit's hands now.
