QBO Invoices

Hello, new to quickbooks online and struggling with the customization of Invoices. I'm using the 'Airy New' template. I initially did not have my logo showing and my company name and address details were shown in the top far left of the form. When I add my logo, the logo is in the far left but it moved my company info to the far right. I've tried changing the size of the logo and it didn't matter. How do I get the logo and the company info next to each other?  Thanks!

I can see how beneficial it would be to have this option in QuickBooks Online. Please know that we always prioritize our customer's goals.

 

As of now, I’m unable to share with you a specific time frame as to when the new templates are coming. Rest assured our Product team is aware of this and is working on implementing this in the future.

 

You can also submit feedback so they can have a look and review it. Let me show you how.

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. 
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.

I've got some steps on putting the logo next to your company info, rackattack4

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can change the position of your company information within the Custom form styles. Kindly follow these steps to change it: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon located at the top right corner.
  2. Under the Your Company column, choose Custom form styles
  3. Under the Design tab, select the Make logo edits. Then click the Show logo. 
  4. Choose a Size for your logo and its Placement
  5. Click the Change up the template. 
  6. Select a template aside from Airy New
  7. Once you're done making changes in your invoice template, press Done

After making changes to your template, you can now create invoices in QBO

I followed those instructions to get the invoice setup but I need to use airy new because it’s the only template that has the option to ‘fit to window envelope’. It is true all other templates will put my logo next to my address. If I use another template, how do I format to fit a window envelope correctly?

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can customize the design format of your sales forms. You can customize the layout and content of these forms to suit your business needs. You can use all the templates available, and you have to modify the Placement to put the logo next to your address.  

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Custom form styles
  3. Under the Design tab, tap the Make logo edits. Then click the Show logo. 
  4. Press a Size for your logo and its Placement
  5. Click the Change up the template. 
  6. Select a template.
  7. Click Done to make changes.

Currently the template format specifically designed for a window envelope is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. However, you can try folding the invoice to fit the envelope.

 

If you prefer a template that does not place your logo at the top far left, you can consider using the 'Airy Classic' template instead. This template may offer a different layout that better suits your preferences.

Are more templates coming in the future that will accommodate a window envelope? Desktop was so much more customizable. Makes no sense to me…surely others have this same frustration as I.
