Buy nowHello guys, Need help! It is my first time creating a QuickBooks account and I was able to sign in on the website after filling out the sign in details on my laptop. But after the sign in loading screen, my account has a transparent gray layer screen that I can't by bass. I have tried using chrome instead of edge but same result. Also tried downloading the desktop app still has the transparent gray layer screen. However, when I tried on my mobile browser, I can use my account normally. No gray screen layers. I have attached the screenshot of my account. Hope someone can help me on this.
Thanks for joining the Community, @mjfinrek.
I appreciate you sharing a screenshot and details to fix this issue. It seems odd when you can run QuickBooks Online Accountant in a mobile browser while unable to use it on a desktop browser. Have you tried clicking the Refresh icon on the desktop browser's URL address field? This way, the browser will reload the data from the server to keep the system run smoothly.
If it persists, I suggest clearing your Google Chrome cache and cookies because the cache files and cookies may be causing QuickBooks Online Accountant to freeze.
If this works, I'd like you to check this article to optimize your browser's performance: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
Furthermore, feel free to check the supported browsers where you can run QuickBooks Online Accountant: QuickBooks Online and Accountant System Requirements.
Let me know if you're able to get back and keep your business running. I'm always here to make sure you're good to go. Stay safe and more power to your firm!
Hi, I have done the suggested steps, but the grey transparent screen is still there. I still can't bypass the transparent grey screen layer and use quickbook.
-Refreshed multiple times
-Cleared cache and cookies on but edge and google chrome
-Check system requirement to run Quickbook
-Reinstalled google chrome
