Join nowMy Quick Books 18 does not give me the option of clicking the utilities tab and I don't know how to fix it. Please any assistance is appreciated, I will leave a picture of what I mean attached.
The File tab does not have all of the options I have seen from other POS quick books please tell me how to fix.
I'll help you with getting access to the Utilities tab in QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale (POS), @WMPCS.
To get started, I recommend closing your POS, then open the file again to refresh QuickBooks. After that, sign in to POS as an admin, then update QuickBooks to install the latest updates and fix common errors.
Here's how:
Once done, go back to the File menu to access the Utilities tab.
To learn more about the specific requirement to ensure software compatibility and avoid issues while working with POS, you can open this article: System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale 18.0.

I appreciate you upgrading the QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) to the current version, WMPCS.
After upgrading the software, you need to restart the computer for changes to take effect.
Once back, make sure that you access the file as the master admin. If not,, you can consider contacting the admin of the account so they can check the level of your access.
If you're the master admin, you can clean install the POS to retrieve the Utility function. Please follow steps 1 to 4 through this article: Clean reinstall QuickBooks Point of Sale.
If the same issue persists, you need to repair the software. Check out this article for complete instructions and a quick tutorial: Repair QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale.
