I have a client on the 2019 version of QB Desktop Pro. The upgrade is not feasible for them due to Intuit moving to an annual subscription with their desktop product. This client is far from computer savy, so I am trying to avoid changing accounting softwares after investing so much time in training them on Quickbooks. The only feature they use that will be affected by the discontinution is payroll. Can this client use QB Online strictly for payroll only and continue to use their desktop version for writing checks and reconciling? If so, can the payroll from QB Online be easily imported to the desktop version even after May 31, 2022?
They can purchase the one time license for QBD 2021 to upgrade their QBD 2019 and keep payroll service update till May 2024.
Where can they purchase this from?

Madeline gave me a link to purchase QB 2022, which is a subscription. As I have already stated, that is not a feasible option for my client

If you contact Intuit Sales team, they will only offer you the latest version (i.e QBD 2022). You have to purchase QBD 2021 or older versions from some partners.
