QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop 2021 decimals and currency change problem

Since I am in Oman and using QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop 2021. I am aware that there isn't an option for 3 decimals right now and only 2 decimals are available, the problem is when I change the currency to OMR (Omani rial) even those 2 decimal will disappear from the totals and it show (OMR 4) instead of (OMR 4.50) and when I print invoice having USD as my currency $ sign will also print. I don't want this $ sign to be printed at all not on invoice not anywhere even not OMR which is the currency symbol for Oman.
I am stuck either I should stay on USD currency to have at least those 2 decimals and also have $ sign to be printed on invoices and reports or I should change the currency to Omani Rial and have rounded numbers and loose even those 2 decimals.

I want to have this $ sign to be removed from my prints either it is invoice or any other report
or When i change my currency to Omani Rial at least those 2 decimals should show up.

I commend you for reaching out to the support team just like my colleague suggested and for coming back to the thread to share an update, @Hammad Asif.

I'll conform with others and share my thoughts regarding this matter. As you mentioned, there is currently no option for three decimals in QuickBooks Desktop, only two decimals, which is correct. From your attachment, I can see that the ability to have two decimals with OMR isn't available at the moment.

I understand the importance of this option for you and your business. That being the case, I recommend sending feedback to our software engineers to raise your suggestion.

They may consider adding this feature to our future product updates. Here's how:

  1. On the upper tab, go to the Help tab.
  2. Select Send Feedback Online, then click Product Suggestion.
  3. A prompt will show, select the Product Area dropdown and select one.
  4. Afterward, enter a brief description of the feature you want in the Here is my suggestion box.
  5. The name and email address are optional.
  6. Once finished, click Send Feedback.

You may visit the QuickBooks Help page. Here you can type a keyword related to your situation into the search box, and you'll be able to see various posts with related concerns, and you can perform the troubleshooting steps yourself.

For additional QuickBooks-related concerns, don't hesitate to post them here in the Community. We're always available and willing to lend a hand to your queries. Have a great day ahead.

QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop 2021 decimals and currency change problem

the problem is not 2 decimals or 3 I accept that no issue

the problem when I print the estimate or the invoice it rounds up the number in the printout and doesn't show the decimals at all!!!

instead of print 12.50 it prints 13 or 12

I want the printout to be 12.50

is it issue in the system or there is configuration for it in preference or designed format

I appreciate you sharing detailed information about the amount displayed on your printed invoices and estimates. I know how important it is to have the correct amounts reflected. Let's troubleshoot this to find the best solution and ensure your printouts show the exact values you need, Awad.

Before we move on to the troubleshooting steps, I'd like to know which version of QuickBooks Desktop you're using and a screenshot. These additional details will help me examine the issue more closely and replicate it effectively.

If the decimal amounts do not appear on your Invoice or Estimate page, and the same problem occurs when you print, we can troubleshoot it using the Verify and Rebuild Data tool. This helps identify and fix common issues that prevent the correct amounts from being displayed.

To begin, here's how to verify your company data:

  1. Proceed to the Window tab, then Close All
  2. Click on the File menu and select Utilities.
  3. Choose Verify Data. Hit OK

After that, follow these steps to rebuild your company data:

  1. Go to the File menu, then choose Utilities.
  2. Select Rebuild Data. QuickBooks will prompt you to do a backup before rebuilding your company file. Pick OK.
  3. Save your backup, and OK
  4. When the Rebuild has completed message appears, hit OK

If the
Invoice and Estimate page displays the correct decimal but only rounds up when you print, we can use the QuickBooks Tool Hub and run the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool.

Here are the steps to help you get started:

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Download the most recent version (1.6.0.3) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Please save the file somewhere you can easily find it (like your Downloads folder or Windows desktop). If you've installed Tool Hub before, you can find out which version you have. Select the Home tab. The version will be on the bottom.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  5. Double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub when the installation finishes.

Now, run the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool:

  1. In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems.
  2. Select QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool. It will take about a minute to run.
  3. Print, email, or save as a PDF from QuickBooks Desktop again.

Moreover, you can generate a Sales by Customer Detail report to monitor client transactions, including any pending sales and sales orders.

I acknowledge your proactive approach to troubleshooting this matter. If you face any further challenges or need clarification on the steps, reach out anytime. I'll always be here to guide you through the resolutions.

QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop 2021 decimals and currency change problem

hi

I tried both option it shows no issues in the data when verified and it only fix one 1 issue when i rebuild the data which is not related to the problem

the problem again is in the estimate windows or invoice window it shows the total amount round up (just show it as round up not calculated round up) meaning as accounting the numbers is correct but it shows it round up in the system window and in the print put

I have multicurrency on and it is in OMR

as in the attached Print sample it should be 122.08 it shows 122 to the customer

and this is another sample from the system windows itself

if it is showing only in the print, I would think its print customization issue

but if it shows in the system inv window and estimate that mean it's not print issue I think!!
