Quickbooks enterprise desktop intuit form designer errors

Early August of 2022, all of the sudden I have been unable to download templates in Quickbooks Enterprise. (all templates. Invoices, payments, receipts, anything). Note that I have spent well over 15 hours on the phone with support since I purchased (upgraded) to Enterprise in Feb 2022. The worst decision I have ever made, I will be getting rid of QB all-together as soon as I learn Xero.

 

Anyway, after more than an hour on the phone, the representative had exhausted all of her resources and told me that the issue was that my desktop needed to be updated to Windows 11. She stated something to the effect of "Quickbooks desktop was created to work with Internet Explorer..." "windows decided to remove IE from computers and change to Microsoft Edge... A full update of your desktop will resolve your issue(s)". WELL shockingly enough, she was wrong. I still get an error that says my browser is not up to date. My browser(s) are all up to date. My computer is now running windows 11. No other programs are affected. All the tool hub steps did not fix the issue. And yes, my QB is up to date.

 

Does anyone have any fixes or suggestions for this error?

Please know that this community is only able to provide basic troubleshooting for software issues. We would still recommend that you continue working with our Technical Team to get this escalated to our developers. Our agents are able to pull up your contact history and should know that this issue needs to be reported. To get our support, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks and click the Help menu.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. On the pop-up screen select Contact us.
  4. Click the Search for Something else button then type your concern in the Ask us anything box.
  5. Hit Search then scroll down to get your contact options.

Note that all calls are directed to the Tier 1 support, so once you get a hold of a live representative, you can request for a supervisor onset of the call. They can look for a higher support to help you further with your technical concern. You can provide the case numbers of your previous calls to help them track the issue.

While I appreciate you taking the time, I find that your response really doesn't provide me an answers or help me find the way to a proper way an answer. It does not matter how I contact QB support (within the program, on the web, via CAMPS, via chat, etc) I only get tier 1 support representatives who want to run me through the same six steps I have already attempted rather it was on the phone or on my own. Is there really no way to get direct access to a qualified candidate that can assist me?

Before anything else, I'd like to thank you for the time and effort that you've put into this. Know that this isn't the experience we'd like you to have here in QuickBooks. Please be aware that although Internet Explorer 11 is the current browser for QBDT, As of June 15, 2022, Microsoft will no longer support it. On June 10, 2022, all supported versions of QuickBooks Desktop will start using the new custom browser.
