QuickBooks Enterprise, Professional services - Price Rule List

Let me provide the additional step so you can see the drop-down after adding a new price list, dendoa.

You need to make sure the Advance Pricing feature is enable on your preferences. Doing this will show the price list.

Here's how:

  1. From the QuickBooks Edit menu, select Preferences.
  2. On the left pane, select Sales & Customers then go to the Company Preferences tab.
  3. In the Custom Pricing section, select Enable Advanced Pricing.
  4. (Optional) Tell QuickBooks how to handle price rounding. For example, if you set rounding to the nearest .05 cents, QuickBooks rounds the price from $15.92 to $15.95.
    • To have QuickBooks use the same rounding for all price rules, select Use the same rounding across all price rules then select the drop-down to choose a rounding option.
    • To set the rounding for each price rule separately, select Set rounding on each price rule. When new price rules are created, set the rounding.
  5. Click OK.

Once done, assign the price rule to the customer's profile:

  1. Click Customer.
  2. Choose Customer Care.
  3. Select the Customer you want to assign.
  4. Go to Payment Setting.
  5. In the Price Level drop-down, choose the discount you want to apply to customer.
  6. Click OK.

I'm adding this article for additional information: Use Advanced Pricing.

You can also start tracking customer transactions in QuickBooks: Accounts Receivable workflow.

Let me know if you need more help with navigating the price rule feature. I'll be around to provide the information that you need.

Thank you.  However, I do not have that option for the drop down menu.

I appreciate your time getting back, dendoa.

This issue with the missing drop menu for prices for each customer can b fixed by performing some troubleshooting.

Let's download the QuickBooks Tool Hub. This tool is designed to automatically diagnose and fix issues within the software. Below are the instructions on how to do it:

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Download the most recent version (1.4.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  5. When the install finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
  6. Once the  QuickBooks Tool Hub is open, select Program Problems.
  7. Select Quick Fix my Program.
  8. Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.

To ensure the components are properly updated, please restart the computer after running the tool.

If this doesn't work, we can try using the Rebuild Data tool in QuickBooks Desktop. This tool is used to fix any possible data damage within your company file. Let me show you the steps on how to perform this below:

  1. From the File menu.
  2. Click on Utilities.
  3. Select Rebuild Data/ Verify Data.
