quickbooks missing pdf file component

I have just purchased a new computer and it has windows 11 on it. I have installed QuickBooks directly from CAMPS. I am able to print to PDF but I cannot save to PDF nor can I email paystubs to my clients and I continuously get the error message about how to fix the PDF and print problems. I have tried all of the steps that are listed. I have restarted my computer multiple times and I have my client and their employees getting upset with me that I am not able to send them their paystubs securely due to this problem. When I run the fix through the tool it appears to only being applied to the windows 10 version. How do I process the windows 11 version so I can get back to work?

Thank you for participating in this thread, llbokepr. Let’s work together to ensure you can download the PDF components safely in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Before we proceed, could you share what troubleshooting steps you’ve tried before encountering the error message when trying to download the PDF component? This will help us find a better solution together.

In the meantime, I suggest downloading our QuickBooks Tool Hub. This tool can help resolve PDF downloading issues and other problems you may encounter. Here's how to do it:

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Download the most recent version (1.6.0.8) of QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  3. Open and install the downloaded file (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  4. In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems.
  5. Click QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool.
  6. Try to download the PDF from QuickBooks Desktop again.

For more troubleshooting steps, you can refer to this article: Fix PDF and Print problems with QuickBooks Desktop.

If the issue persists, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Support Team. They have a screen-sharing tool that can help pinpoint the root cause of this matter and submit a ticket for further investigation if needed.

You can also refer to this article, for more solutions and potential causes of unexpected behavior in QBDT: Fix common problems and errors with the QuickBooks Desktop Tool Hub.

Let us know on the situation if you have further updates on downloading PDF components in QBDT. We'll do our best to assist you. Have a great day!
