Would advise you not to use QuickBooks, awful customer service. happy to take your money from clients, not so easy to get it!
I recently signed up for QuickBooks payments, first client's payment came through with no issues. the next two were held, a couple of days later QuickBooks canceled my online payments. apparently sending an email as to why however it is nowhere to be found! three weeks later multiple phone calls and we are nowhere closer to receiving our payments!
we are a small business that started 5 months ago. I now fully understand how easy it is for a new business not to succeed. two large payments being held really hurts!
Hi there, @mattutin.
I appreciate you posting your experience and giving us your feedback. Allow me clarify things and give you some information about why the payments are on hold.
When something unexpected happens in your transaction, it may result in a payment hold. This is not to say that there is anything wrong. We simply require more time to review.

Intuit will attempt to contact you at the phone number on your merchant account. You'll also receive an email with detailed instructions on what additional information is needed in order to complete our review.
Another variable that can affect your payments is processing time. You can refer to this article on when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.
Here are some FAQs on recording QuickBooks Payments bank deposits.
Feel free to post a reply if you have any clarification about processing your deposits. I'll be glad to help you out. Keep safe!
Hi thanks for this, this has actually been the most helpful interaction I've had so far. however, I haven't received a phone call or email about the money on hold. It is now three weeks since they have been on hold.
