Quickbooks online having issues printing checks PDF.js v1.5.456 (build: 4d15928) Message: Invalid PDF structure

Using the Mac App this error is reported as: PDF.js v1.5.456 (build: 4d15928) Message: Invalid PDF structure

Using a browser is reports as Unexpected Internal Error. (30102)

It is happening again. I think this is an  QB Online issue pin the Intuit end as many people today are suddenly having the same issue, just like back in September 2019 when it "magically" started working again... I just wish the Tech Support would admit it is an internal issue and give us a  bunch of useless malarkey about troubleshooting.

**** Appears they fixed it as of 2:12 EST***

I'm here to make sure you're able to print checks in QuickBooks Online, @userbuddy-shaver.

To start, let's perform some steps to fix this. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed pages, thus causing some unusual responses. Let's log in to your account using a private browser.

Here's how:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari

Once logged in, try to print the paychecks again to double-check. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Workers menu at the left pane.
  2. Choose Employees.
  3. Click the Paycheck List in the My Payroll section.
  4. Select the paychecks, then hit Print.

If it works, go back to your default browser and clear its cache and cookies to refresh the system. If the issue persists, I'd recommend using other supported browsers in accessing the tab.

I've also added these articles you can check out:

For future reference, consider checking out this article: Fix print alignment for preprinted checks.

Let me know the results of printing the checks. We're here 24/7 to help. Have a pleasant day.
