My invoices default to "PRINT LATER". When ready to print, I go into ALL SALES menu and filter by PRINT LATER, select all invoices, and BATCH ACTION to PRINT. A window opens up with the invoices, allowing me to print. When I close that window, I used to get the message that the invoices will be marked as printed. In the last 24 hours, I started getting this message: "We weren't able to mark as printed. Go ahead and try again." I've tried multiple times in different browsers and also with normal and incognito modes to no avail. I have also cleared my cache and cookies without any resolution. Has anyone been experiencing this issue?

This error might be fixed! At least it appears to be fixed for me. I was able to set up a batch print of 20+ invoices, and then when the popup prompted me to "mark as printed?" I clicked yes, did not receive the error message and the invoices marked disappeared from the list.
Hope it works for you too!

It's now July 29 and I am having the same issue. I've cleared the cache and deleted cookies, but the message keeps appearing, despite me having successfully printed the invoices. This is ridiculous. I am getting really tired of all the QBO "glitches" and being told to reach out to customer support. FIX IT.

An update - I contacted support today (08/01/2024) and they are aware of the issue and are working on it. We'll see how long a fix takes.
Thank you so much! Seems there is an issue with emailed invoices as well. I have roughly 250 customers that received emailed invoices on the 1st of each month. QBO showed they were sent, but when I logged into our company email, where copies are supposed to be sent to as well, there were NONE. Around 2 hours later one by one, very slowly they started arriving in the email. I am so frustrated!
I can see how inconvenient it can be when experiencing issues while performing tasks in QuickBooks Online, Rikki & Kim.
Please be assured that our team is fully aware of the problem with the printing issue and is actively working on a resolution.
Concerning the emailed invoices, QuickBooks will create and send invoices for recurring transactions on the day scheduled between 12:00 am and 5:00 am depending on your time zone. @RikkiMaybe Yes, I started experiencing this exact issue after July 25, just as you described.
So frustrating - I had about 100 invoices left to print this month and could not "mark as printed". I'm hoping this bug gets fixed in the next two weeks as I have over 800 invoices to batch print coming up. I did call QB support and got a ticket opened to register the issue - hope that helps move things along.

My batch print is also now working.
