Quickbooks Online shuts down

When I click on View for a transaction on  a discrepancy report, instead of displaying the detail, the program shuts down and requires me to log back in.

Quickbooks Online shuts down

I've checked our file, and there's no open investigation about QuickBooks Online logging the users out, eDale.

This can be caused by too much cache. When you visit a website, it stores the information. Once it overloads, it causes unexpected results.

We have a few steps to fix this. I'm here to guide you.

Let's start with opening QuickBooks Online through a private/incognito window. This is the best place to identify web issues. Here the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Then, view the transaction on the discrepancy report. If you're not logged out, go back to the main browser, then clear the cache. This will refresh the program and fix unusual behavior.

On the other hand, you can use a different browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

You can keep us updated after trying these steps. We're here to assist you.
