Of recent I noted Quickbooks Pro 2014 has been opening to the Windows Task Bar minimized after the password entry. Only a password screen appears then the software dives down into the Task Bar. The user must then look to the Taskbar and open to gain access to the software. Anyone know the reason for this behavior?

This issue has resurfaced and the previous remedy no longer works without doing the following:
Be sure and obtain all QB updates. I then did a Rebuild of Data. I then went to the Windows "tab" (menu option) within QB and made sure to close All open Windows within QB. As it turns out, QB is opening either a default set of QB windows or a previous set of QB windows. Now maximize QB with no QB windows open. Close out of QB then re-open the QB application. This should cure the issue of QB failing to open full screen
After no results online, I began experimenting with this issue. Apparently, after the password prompt and the software is minimized, you can click on Quickbooks in the Taskbar and open Full Screen again. However the issue kept repeating. To get around this issue, I opened Quickbooks again and then I simply chose the "Restore Down" button (2 squares overlapping each other) which is in between the minimized button and the X button in the upper right corner. Closed Quickbooks and then re-opened, the software was now at half screen vs. the Task Bar. I then dragged the corners of Quickbooks software and stretched to liking, closed out of Quickbooks and this seemed to solve the issue. No solutions in Preferences / Desktop View within Quickbooks or elsewhere online. Hope this solution helps someone.
