Hey there, @upload customers.
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the QuickBooks Community for support. I hope you're enjoying the day so far.
Let's try some basic troubleshooting steps to help get this issue resolved. Such as clearing the cache from your browser. Web browsers collect cache to save time when loading repetitive data and images. Over time these files can become outdated and corrupted, causing issues like the one with your QuickBooks not working properly. I've included the links for all supported browsers that contain the steps to clear the cache below.
After clearing the cache, please be sure to restart your browser so the changes can take effect.
Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Take care!
Having Same problem. So my mom uses QuickBooks on Windows 10 to run her business and exactly a week ago it stopped working. All of a sudden it won't open at all. I consider myself to be technologically inclined and I've tried everything I can think of, disabling her firewall checking a whole bunch of security settings etc. Has anyone else had this problem? I even tried uninstalling the latest windows security update that happened about the same time it quit working. I'm honestly stumped and hoping someone can help.
Are you using QB Desktop or QB Online?
I can see that you did everything you could, @Hector12. No worries, I've got here additional steps to ensure QuickBooks Online (QBO) will work again.
I appreciate you sharing the steps you've performed. That information is really helpful so I can provide another set of troubleshooting processes.
To start, I recommend accessing the QBO account using another supported browser or device. Might be that the current one you're using has temporary issues with the program.
If you were still unable to open it, let's now attempt to sign in on the QuickBooks official website. Here's how:
If the above steps do not work, I now suggest adding QuickBooks as a trusted site to make an exception. There are times that the security of your device prevents the program from running. Doing this will avoid this situation. Please refer to the steps below:
However, if the issue persists, please proceed to solutions 5 to 6 of this article: Fix common sign-in errors in QuickBooks Online
QBO has a lot of awesome video tutorials that you can access at any time. These resources will further help your navigation while performing QuickBooks tasks.
Ensuring you can open your QBO account seamlessly is my priority. If you have questions about the process I've outlined above, please post a comment below. I'll get back to this thread as soon as possible to give answers. Take care always.
