This was reported over two months ago - and there seems to be zero movement on this issue. Instead of fixing the problem, now when you click on the Category field with the mouse, it does not fill in after typing a few letters of the category. It is EXTREMELY time consuming now to enter bills, that used to take a few seconds.
WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED?????
@bevbaf Sadly, all they will tell you from here is to contact "Support" and get added to the "affected user" list, where you may, or may not receive updates.
It is SO frustrating and is QUITE time consuming. QB knows we are at their mercy, but sadly, doesn't care.
(Someone will be along shortly to tell you how that 's not what they like to hear, or that they "understand how important it is to...")

I understand how you want to get this tabbing field issue resolved.
I've checked the investigation status about this issue, and it's still in progress. Currently, we haven’t received any updates yet if when this will be resolved, but rest assured that our engineers are currently investigating and working on an immediate fix.

Still no fix. Not even a definite "we're actively working on it." Just "we're aware".
Oh, but be sure to check out the new features being released! Just that the old features are breaking down...
I have also called in NUMEROUS times! I was on hold for over 30 minutes, for the representative to come back and say they can do nothing about it, you just are not going to be able to tab! It just happens in the first line, so you would think it would be an easy fix! Slows down work flow tremendously!
So glad I saved myself time by NOT calling to report this issue I too have been experiencing for a couple of months. It is frustrating and has slowed down work flow for me as an accountant. It is unacceptable that this issue has been going on for so long and is still unresolved. It cost me money every day, I am sure I am not the only one.

Entered a group of checks, and it worked correctly!
Now to see if it is fixed in every screen.
For some reason I have not received the promised notice from QBO Support that the problem has been resolved. (sarcasm)

To start, I may need to ask for further details about the issue encountered. Were you using the QuickBooks Online Accountant product when this problem occurred? If so, please note that we have an ongoing investigation - INV-104271 about the inability to use the Tab key in journal entries, invoices, and bills. In this case, I recommend contacting our Support Team. This way, you'll be listed as one of the affected users. You'll be notified about the course of this investigation accurately.

Only in Journal Entries. So far, other transaction types work with the Tab function.
