Turn off Billable Checkbox on bill for bothe items and expenses

Need to turn off the checkbox feature for both expenses and items when entering bills. When entering a bill for a PO and then invoicing, this should automatically turn off, but it does not.  How do we disable it so it automatically does not get checked?

I can see the convenience of removing the Checkbox for the billable feature in QuickBooks Desktop, DOA. Let me submit feedback for your concerns.

 

We can turn off this feature by unchecking the billable expense option on the Company Preferences page. Furthermore, removing this option isn't possible.

 

However, we can send this suggestion to our product developer, who will study and consider including it in the next update.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Choose the Help option.
  2. Pick the Send Feedback Online option.
  3. Enter your Product Suggestion option. A pop-up window displays.
  4. Enter your feedback suggestion.
  5. Click the Send Feedback button.

 

In addition, we want to spotlight resources within QuickBooks that can handle your income and expense transactions in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT):
