I'm using QuickBooks Online Payroll as an employee. I received an invitation about a month ago and was able to access the site, but now I always have the error of "We didn't find any companies for this account" whenever I log in. In my Intuit profile page, it says that I have the QB Online Payroll as a product and am affiliated under my organization. Yet, when I click on the button to go to QuickBooks, I still can't log in. I've heard that this could potentially be an issue with my W2 form, but I was not allowed to fill it out in QuickBooks (blocked by the company). Is there any way to fix this?
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, En_When.
Based on the information you've provided, it appears that you're encountering an error while logging in to the QuickBooks Online website as an employee. Not to worry, I am here to guide you on how to access your account smoothly.
Since you're invited as an employee to view your pay stub and W2, you may need to log in to QuickBooks Workforce. To sign in to your account, I recommend using this link workforce.intuit.com.
Once you have successfully logged in, you can easily view and print your pay stubs and W-2s online. However, if you are unable to locate some of your pay stubs in QuickBooks Workforce, you can refer to this article for guidance on what to do: Troubleshoot missing pay stubs in QuickBooks Workforce.
If you need anything else about accessing your workforce account, don't hesitate to leave a comment below. I'm always here to help.
Was your issue ever resolved? I have the same problem suddenly after years of running online payroll and QB support can not solve the issue:
We didn't find any companies for this account
I appreciate your loyalty as a QuickBooks user over the years, @Busghop. I'll provide info about the login issues.
Please know there's an ongoing investigation related to login issues and getting an error message "We didn't find any companies for this account". Our product engineers are well aware of the problem and are working hard to find a fix. While we don't have an exact timeframe for the resolution yet, rest assured we're on it.
In the meantime, I recommend reaching out to our payroll support team. They have the tools to investigate this further and add you to the list of affected users, so you'll receive timely updates about this matter whenever available.
For future reference, you can enter your employees' year-to-date paycheck details and company totals to ensure their pay info will reflect on their W-2s and other payroll tax forms.
Feel free to comment below for further questions about login issues or other QuickBooks concerns. I'll be around to assist.
Thanks you @CarlSJ CarlSJ for the reply. I have been on the phone with support team for 3-4 hrs and no rep could help resolve the issue. It is frustrating that there is not a proper escalation workflow to help support paying customers when the product is not working.
I run payroll once a month regularly for years and today, I can not login - it says "We didn't find any companies for this account". Have tried any imaginable browser, resets & clear caches, etc. The issue is definitely on the backend.
When I look at the Intuit account manage page, my account is all paid for and the product is there.
You suggestion enter your employee's year-to-date paycheck info is simply not possible since I can not get into the system to do anything!
