I am in the process of upgrading to QB Desktop Pro Plus 2023, but I'm stuck. We've already purchased the upgrade and I downloaded it this morning. Where I'm stuck is opening the company file. I find the file, but it keeps telling me "This company file needs to be updated. Please ask your QuickBooks Administrator to update the file.". I did an update in our QB 2020, saved a backup and still get this same message. What do I need to do differently?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have a lovely day & be well.
