I can search for a vendor, but when I click on a vendors name the screen goes blank. No transactions show up.

Hi there, Sunwastallsvs.

I'm here to help fix the issue you're having with your Vendors page in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Did you receive some error messages? Any additional information will help me provide the best resolution for your concern.

In the meantime, let's sign in to your QBO using a private browser (incognito). There are times that the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources (cache and cookies), causing some unusual responses. Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).
  •  Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

Once logged in, go back to the Vendors page again to double-check. If everything looks good, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

For more information about managing vendors, check out this article: Add a vendor in QuickBooks Online.

I also recommend visiting our website for more resources you can use in the future: Self-help articles.

Please leave a comment below if you have more questions about this or anything else. I'll be here to assist. Take care.

Same thing is happening to me. I already cleared, but I'll try the other suggestions. Last day of fiscal year - this is NOT good.

I am having the same issue.  I click on a vendor but the screen goes blank.  There is no error message.  I have cleared the cache and logged out and back in but I am still getting a blank screen when I click on vendors.

Hi everyone.

Thanks for joining this conversation.

Since the issue persists after trying the steps above, I highly suggest contacting our Support team. They have tools such as screen-sharing (remote access) that can pull up your account in a secure environment and check the cause of this odd behavior. They can also create a ticket and forward it to our product engineers for further investigation.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. In QBO, go to the Help (question mark) icon.
  2. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with.
  3. Click Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us.

To check for our Support hours, please refer to this article: QuickBooks Online Support.

You can always visit our website for more resources you can use in the future: Self-help articles.

Please click the Reply button below if you have follow-up questions about this or anything else. I'm more than willing to help. Take care.

@Sunwestallsvs   Another intuit employee says this is a result of their latest horrible updates.
