The automation for the date format is from your browser’s autofill settings. In QuickBooks, you’ll have to click the Calendar icon to set the date or manually enter it in the field box.

Not having the quick date entry has proven difficult today. Muscle memory and number of tabs gets me through a stack of invoices in no time. I called about this issue, but there was no solution. I cleared by cookies and browsing data. I am now having issues with random invoices being marked and "Undelivered", though customers receive them on other days. And I can only have one tab open at a time on desktop version or it signs me out. This all happened over the course of a week. Seemed like one thing a day.
Hi there, MayesOffice.
Thank you for coming back to the QuickBooks Community. I also appreciate you performing the troubleshooting steps to fix your issue with the entry's date and for calling our QuickBooks Team.
I see you've already contacted our QuickBooks Support Team to confirm the cause of the issue. However, I suggest contacting them again. They have the tools to pull up your account to deep investigate the root of the problem and why the issue keeps appearing.
Please refer to the articles below on how to receive and record the accounting for invoice payments. Then, how to accept customer payments for online invoices and in-person sales.
Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. The Community Team will always here to help.
