Where can I find the paycheck printing preferences?

Allow me to guide you in printing your paychecks seamlessly in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @miller-juhles-gm.

Just a few clicks and you’re all set. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Payroll Settings.
  3. In the Preferences section, select Paycheck Printing.
  4. Select Plain paper stubs, then click OK.

Then to print your paychecks:

  1. Go to the Payroll menu.
  2. Select Employees.
  3. Click Paycheck List.
  4. Select the paychecks you'd like to print, then click Print.

You can also check this article for more details: Print pay stubs in QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, you also have the option to invite your employees to the Workforce and let them view their paystubs online. This way, you can save time and paper: Invite your employees to QuickBooks Workforce to see pay stubs, W-2s and more.

Tag me in your reply if you have other follow-up questions about printing paychecks in QBO, I’ll be around ready to back you up.

Where can I find the paycheck printing preferences?

Thank you for your reply @JasroV . I'm having trouble finding where I can change my printing preferences. When I go to payroll settings then to printing, the only options I have are print to on plain paper or pre-printed check paper. I have Quickbooks Payroll Online and I believe I'm supposed to be able to print my banking info on blank check vouchers through quickbooks.

Where can I find the paycheck printing preferences?

Thanks for getting back to this thread, @miller-juhles-gm.

It's nice to see you here. I'll share some insights about printing blank checks in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Right now, the feature to directly print checks on a blank check stock is unavailable. This is the reason why you don't see this option when going to the Paycheck Printing section.

However, you can use third-party applications that are integrated with QBO for printing blank paper checks. Just click this article to get their information and how you may log on to their website: How to print blank check stock using supported apps in QuickBooks.

You can also check out these apps on our App Center. Simply log in to your QBO account and go to the Apps menu, then search for the app.

Additionally, you can save time and paper with QuickBooks Workforce. All you have to do is invite your workers to get their pay stubs online.
