Which Quickbooks product allowed to bulk upload bundle products and create price list for bundle products?

Currently, only Quickbooks Commerce allow to do Bulk Import and Price List for bundle products, unfortunately it is lack of accounting capabilities. Then I turned to Quickbooks Online; but unfortunately again, Quickbooks Online doesn't allow both Bulk Import and Price List for bundle products.

I would like to know which Quickbooks product allowed to "Bulk Import" bundle products by using csv and create "Price List" for bundle products? Yet, with accounting capabilities like Quickbooks Online.

Is Quickbooks Desktop the answer?

Please tell me which products will provide all 3s (Bulk Import for bundles, Price List for bundles and Accounting features.)

Truly appreciated your help !!!

Thanks for visiting the Community, Alchemist_0218.

Let me guide you in the right direction on how to find a product that bulk import your bundle products.

QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Point of Sales allow you to import your inventory items via Excel files. These versions let you enter the sales price for the items and other information.

Also, these products will help you manage your accounting activities. To learn more about the features for each QuickBooks version, click on the links below.

Additionally, the following articles provide detailed information on how to use the export and import features. These resources contain screenshots for visual reference.

@Alchemist_0218

You can use QBD Premier to "manufacture" raw items to become the item assembly as bundle products. Then utilize the price level feature for your "bundle products". You are able to update the price and the price level in bulk later.

Which Quickbooks product allowed to bulk upload bundle products and create price list for bundle products?

Greetings, @Alchemist_0218. Let me clarify things for you about importing bundles in bulk.

You can import Intuit Interchange Format (IIF) files to and from QuickBooks Desktop. This feature is only available in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and the Accountant versions. If you wish to utilize this, you may visit this page and learn about our products: Choose your QuickBooks Desktop product.

Then, back up your company file and follow these steps to Export IIFs:

  1. Log in to your company file as an admin.
  2. If you’re in Multi-user mode, go to the File menu, then choose Switch to Single-user Mode.
  3. Select the File menu, then click Utilities.
  4. Choose Import, then click Import IIF.
  5. Select the IIF file you want to import, then click Open.
  6. Choose OK to confirm the action.

For more instruction, feel free to review this article: Export, import, and edit IIF files. It also includes some insights about the transactions you can send and export in QuickBooks.

Otherwise you can use other third party application that you can integrate with QuickBooks to import bulk bundles.

Moreover, I've attached a resource that can guide you to manage IIF transactions in QuickBooks: Tasks you can do with IIF files.

Feel at ease to leave a comment down below if you have other questions about importing data in QuickBooks. I'll be around to help you. Have a great day.

@Alchemist_0218

You can purchase QBD Premier with a one time license or QBD Premier Plus. If you prefer to pick QB Desktop, consider to install the trial version for QBD Enterprise to make sure your needs. They don't provide the trial license for Premier edition.

If you are not familiar with IIF to export/import data, explore a 3rd party migration tool.
